Work Experience

ASTG
Application & Technical Sales Engineer II
At ASTG, I work on gas analytical systems involving customer requirements, initial system design, BOM development, quoting support, P&IDs, analyzer integration, validation testing, and FAT support. I also contribute to R&D projects by testing analyzer performance, improving sampling designs, reducing uncertainty, and using data to support better engineering decisions.

Busy Bee Refills
Mechanical Engineer Consultant
At Busy Bee Refills, I redesigned a refill product to improve manufacturability, assembly efficiency, and production scalability. I managed component sourcing, created the BOM for the first production batch, and made design updates that reduced production cost by 20 percent and shortened build time by 90 minutes.

Boston University Robotics Lab
Mechanical Engineer
At the Boston University Robotics Lab, I worked on a fluidic actuated soft robotic catheter concept for biomedical use. I used CAD, Abaqus, COMSOL, prototype fabrication, and actuation testing to evaluate how the device could bend, deploy, and interact with fluid flow.
Instrumentation I Have Worked With

FTIR
Measures how gases absorb infrared light at specific wavelengths to identify and quantify compounds.

GC
Separates a gas mixture into individual compounds so each component can be measured as it exits the column.

FID
Detects hydrocarbons by burning the sample in a flame and measuring the ions produced.

PID
Uses ultraviolet light to ionize certain compounds and measures the resulting electrical signal.

BGA
Measures binary gas concentration by comparing the physical properties of a two gas mixture.

Particle Counter
Counts particles by measuring how they scatter light as they pass through an optical sensor.

CDRS
Uses laser light trapped in an optical cavity to measure trace gas absorption from how quickly the light decays.

Coulometric Oxygen Analyzer
Measures oxygen by using an electrochemical reaction that creates a current proportional to O₂ concentration.

Oscilliscope
Displays voltage over time so electrical signals, noise, and transient behavior can be analyzed.

Microcontrollers
Run programmed logic to read sensors, process signals, and control outputs in embedded systems.

Signal/Function Generators
Create controlled electrical waveforms used to test circuits, sensors, and measurement systems.

DAQ Boards
Convert sensor and instrument signals into digital data for recording, analysis, and control.
